Physics is an ideal
Engineering is reality
Note: Engineering is the application of physical models crafted with math by knowledgeable humans (and thus never just one human alone).

The Broad Spectrum Life 
If Engineering is reality how can it also be models? Models are great but they are not reality. Not an argument — just a question.

Thanks for your comment. I figure engineering is a manifestation of models. Such that, models are mental constructs and engineering is physical application guided in whole or part by these subjective models. All built by a tool (also a mental construct) called mathematics.

This relation of math, physics, engineering, and all other relevant domains also requires a mention of human creativity and intuition which is another post in itself.
