Fate Knows Best

When I let the fates decide, my soul resides
Regardless of low or high tide, I have guides
Fate is lube for the slide that prides in strides
Long steps over the divides in and outside confines

Besides, were in a side and along side one
It’s best to look around and found you won

Dance with pretend, that’s reality, you know?
Chance is your friend, can’t really be your foe

Let the world come to terms
Let go of what you know
As an earthworm squirms
Your excrement will grow

  1. I really enjoyed this poem and had to read the last line about 3 times because at first I thought it said “excitement” but when I saw it was “excrement” it caused me to stop and take pause and ponder that.
